ImgBurn Install and SetupOnce we've created the proper blu-ray structures on our hard drive, we need some way to burn it to a format (UDF 2.5) that our blu-ray player will recognize and play. While there are many commercial dvd-burning applications that do this, there is currently only one FREE application that will do this: ImgBurn (version 2.4.0.0 or later.) DownloadInstallationOnce you've completed the download, double click on the exe file to start the installer:
Next, you'll be asked to choose your components. You can change these settings as you like, as the only necessary one is 'Main Program Files':
Now you'll be asked for the install location. The default is fine here as well:
Now you'll be asked if you want to automatically check for new versions. You can set this either way:
Finally, you'll get the successful install window. Just click on 'Finish' here to exit the installer:
Setup ImgBurnAfter the installer exits, ImgBurn will automatically start:
Click on the 'Write files / folders to disc' icon, and you'll see the Write window:
Click on the 'Options' tab, and then select 'UDF' from the 'File System' pulldown under 'Image Options':
Finally, under 'UDF Revision', select '2.5':
That's it! ImgBurn is now installed and setup to burn blu-ray structures! |
